Solution ↓

Perimeter of Square field = 142\frac{2}{3}

In improper fraction = (142 × 3) + 2

= 426 + 2 = \frac{428}{3}

We know that :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side

P = 4 × s

\frac{428}{3} = 4 × s

s = \frac{428}{3} ÷ 4

s =  \frac{428}{3} \div \frac{4}{1}

s =  \frac{428}{3}\times \frac{1}{4}

s =  \cancel \frac{428 \times 1}{3 \times 4}

s = \frac{107}{3}

Therefore, we have found the length of each side = \frac{107}{3}.
