Answer:-

The area of the square field is 1600 m² and it's diagonal is 40√2

Explanation:-

Given :

Perimeter of square field= 160 m

To find :

Area and diagonal of the square field

Solution :

Perimeter= 160 m

We know that the formula of perimeter of square is= (4 × Side)

(4 × Side) = 4s

 =  > 4s = 160 \: m

 =  > s =  \dfrac{160}{4} \:  m

 =  > s = 40 \: m

Therefore, The length of each side of the square field is 40 m.

Now, Formula of Area of Square= (Side × Side) sq.unit

 =  > Area = (40 \times 40) {m}^{2}

 =  > Area = 1600 \:  {m}^{2}

Hence, The area of the square field is 1600 m².

Now, Formula of diagonal of square= √s²+s²

= √40²+40²

= √1600+1600

=√3200

=40√2

Therefore, Diagonal of the square field is 40√2
