Perimeter of a square = 4S = 26 cm

Perimeter = S = 26/4 = 6.5 cm

Area of a square = S^2 = (6.5)^2 = 42.25 sq.cm

Answer:

Perimeter of square = 26

=> 4a = 26

=> a = 26/4

=> a = 13/2

Now, area of square = a²

= (13/2)²

= 169/4 ans
