HI DUDE....
Perimeter of square = 4×side
28 = 4×side
side = 28/4 = 7
Area of square = side × side = 7×7 = 49

Area of square = 1/2×(diagonal)²
49 = 1/2×(diagonal)²
Diagonal ² = 49×2 = 98
Diagonal = ✓98 = 9.8cm

HOPE THIS HELPS....

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Perimeter of square is 28 cm.

To Find:

  • What is measure are of square and and length of its diagonal?

Solution: We know that

Perimeter of Square = 4 x Side

A/q

\small\implies{\sf } 28 = 4 x Side

\small\implies{\sf } 28/4 = Side

\small\implies{\sf } 7 cm = Side

Hence, The length of each side of Square is 7 cm

Area of Square =( Side x Side )

\small\implies{\sf } Area of Square = (7 x 7)

\small\implies{\sf } Area of Square = 49 cm²

There is an another formula for finding area of square

Area of Square = 1/2 x (Diagonal)²

\small\implies{\sf } 49 = 1/2 x (D)²

\small\implies{\sf } 49 x 2 =

\small\implies{\sf } 98 =

\small\implies{\sf } 98 = D

\small\implies{\sf } 9.8 cm = D

Hence, The length of diagonal of square is 9.8 cm
