Answer=81cm2

Since perimeter of square is 36cm
Also perimeter of square is 4*side
Therefore 36=4* side
Therefore side =9cm
Now, area of square is side 2
Therefor, 9*9=81cm2

Answer :

81 cm ^2

Explanation:

The formula for calculating a squares perimeter is = s

s = side = ?

The formula for calculating a squares area is = s×s

but s = ?

So first we will have to find s ...

Perimeter is given

Perimeter of square = 36 cm

4 × s = 36 cm

s = 36/4

s = 9cm

Now we know the value of s .... so from with its help we will find the area of square

Area of square = s × s

= 9 × 9

= 81 cm ^2

Hope it helps :)
