Required data,

Perimeter of a square=40cm

we silve the sum using formula of perimeter and diagonal of a square

perimeter of a square=4×length

diagonal of a square=√2×length

perimeter of the square=40cm

therefore the length =perimeter/4=40/4=10cm

diagonals of the square=√2×10=14.14 cm
