Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey mate here is your answer:

____________________________________

→Perimeter of square = 48cm

→Side of square = 48/4 = 12cm ,

→Area of square = side x side = 12^2 = 144 sq.cm ,

→Area of rectangle = area of square - 4  cm² = 144 - 4 = 140 sq.cm ,

→Length = 14 cm ,

→So, breadth = area/length = 140/14 = 10 cm ,

→So, perimeter = 2(10 + 14) = 2(24) = 48 cm.

Answer:

perimeter of a square= 48

4 x side=48

side=48/4

side=12

Area of square = s x s

=12 x 12

= 144

Area of rectangle= Area of square - 4

l x b = 144 - 4

= 140

since, l = 14

b = 140/14

b = 10

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

= 2(14 + 10)

=2(24) = 48

Perimeter of rectangle is 48 and the option is b
