Perimeter of the square =4× side =48 m

Length of side of the square =

4/48 =12 m

Now, area of this square =side

2

=144 sq m

Given, the area of a rectangle is 4 sq m less than the area of given square.

Area of rectangle =144−4=140 sq m

⇒ Length × Breadth =140 sq m

⇒14 m× Breadth =140 sq. m

⇒ Breadth =10 m

Perimeter of the square = 48 cm = 4s

4s = 48cm

S= 48/4

S= 12

Length of side of a square = 12 cm

Area of square-: s x s

12cm x 12 cm

= 144 cm ^2

Area of square-: 144 cm^2

Given ,

The area of Rectangle is less than

4cm^2 the area of a square

Less than 4cm^2

144 cm ^2 - 4 cm^2

140 cm^2

= Area of Rectangle = 140 cm^2

Length = l = 14 cm

Breadth = ?? = b

Area of Rectangle = l x b

14 x b = 140 cm^2

B= 140 cm^2 / 14

B= 10 cm

Breadth = 10 cm

Final answer-:

Breadth = 10 cm
