hey friend

hope my answer helps you

perimeter of a square = 4s

4s = 48

=> s = 48/4 = 12m

area of a square = s²

area of square = 12² = 144m²

given that area of rectangle = area of square - 6

=> area of rectangle = 144 - 6 =138m²

but we know that area of a rectangle = l × b

l = 23m , b = ?

23 × b = 138

b = 138 / 23 = 6m

therefore breadth of the rectangle = 6m
