Answer:

Breath of the rectangle is 11.75 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have:-

Perimeter of square = 56 m

As perimeter of square is 4*side,

Therefore:-

=> 4*side = 56

=> Side = 56/4

=> Side = 14 m

Also:-

Area of rectangle = l*b

Where 'l' is lenght and

'b' is breath.

According to Question

Area of rectangle will be as

=> ( area of square - 8) m²

=> ( side² - 8) m²

=> (14² - 8) m²

=> (196 - 8) m²

=> (188) m²

Now we have:-

Length of rectangle = 16 m.

As area of rectangle = l*b

=> 188m² = 16 *b

=> 188/16 = b

=> 11.75m = b

Therefore:-

Breath of the rectangle is 11.75 m.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of square = 56 m

As perimeter of square is 4*side,

4*side = 56

Side = 56/4

Side = 14 m

Area of rectangle = l*b

Where 'l' is length and

'b' is breadth.

Area of rectangle will be as

( area of square - 8) m²

( side² - 8) m²

(14² - 8) m²

(196 - 8) m²

(188) m²

Length of rectangle = 16 m.

As area of rectangle = l*b

188m² = 16 *b

188/16 = b

11.75m = b
