perimeter of square is 56 m
so each side will be 14 m
as perimeter of square is 4*sides
now the area of square is 14*14 which is 196 sq.m
now the area of rectangle is 8 sq.m less the area of square which is 188 sq.m
area of rectangle is l*b
length is given which is 16 m
16*b=188
solving the equation u will get b=11.75 m
