the perimeter of a square is 64 cm find its area

perimeter is 4 into side.
so, side of square=64 divided by 4=16cm.

area of square= side square
so, area = 16 into 16=256 cm square

solution is as follows:-

Perimeter of square = 4*length of one side[since all sides of square are equal]

Length of square be 

According to the question;

We have perimeter=64cm

perimeter = 4a
64=4a
a=64÷4
a=16cm 

So length of square will be 16 cm

AREA if square will be = a^{2}
AREA= 16^{2}
Area=256  cm^{2}

Ans=256  cm^{2}
