solution is as follows:-

Perimeter of square = 4*length of one side[since all sides of square are equal]

Length of square be  a 

According to the question;

We have perimeter=64cm

perimeter = 4a
64=4a
a=64÷4
a=16cm 

So length of square will be 16 cm

AREA if square will be = $a^{2}$
AREA= $16^{2}$
Area=256  $cm^{2}$

Ans=256  $cm^{2}$
