The perimeter of a square is 64 m.The area of a rectangle is 6m square less than the area of the given square . If the length of the rectangle is 25 m,find its breadth

Perimeter of square= 4 multiply side
64 m = 4 multiply side
side = 64/4 = 16m
Are of square = side multiply side
= 16 multiply 16
= 256 m^2
Area of rectangle = 256 m^2 - 6m^2
= 250 m^2
Breadth of rectangle = 250/25=10 m

Area of rectangle = l*b
250 = 25*b
250/25= b
10m=breadth
