Let the perimeter of rectangle be a metres

perimeter of square = 2a

perimeter of square = 120 m

2a = 120

a = 120/2

a = 60

perimeter of rectangle = 60 m

Let length and breadth of the rectangle are 3x and 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(3x+2x)=60

3x+2x=30

5x=30

x=30/5

x=6

Breath of the rectangle = 2x = 2×6 = 12 m
