Answer:

196m sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

First, find the perimeter of square.....

That's.....

Length = 17m

Breadth = 11m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) =2(17+11)

= 56m

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

= 56m

So......

To find the area of the square......

Perimeter of square = 56m

4 × side = 56

Side = 56/4 = 14m

Area of square = side × side = 14 × 14

= 196m sq.

Hope this helps u!!

  \large\underline{ \underline{ \sf \: Solution : \:  \:  \: }}

Given ,

  \large\fbox{ \fbox{ \sf \: Perimeter \:  of  \: square = Perimeter  \: of \:  rectangle \: }}

 \sf \implies 4 × side = 2(length × breadth) \\  \\ \sf \implies </p><p>4 × side = 2(17 + 11) \\  \\ \sf \implies  </p><p>4 × side = 2(28) \\  \\ \sf \implies </p><p>4 × side = 56 \\  \\ \sf \implies  </p><p>side = 14  \: cm

We have to find area of square , so ,

  \large\fbox{ \fbox{ \sf \: Area  \: of  \: square =   {(side) }^{2}   \:  \: }}

 \sf \implies</p><p>Area  \: of  \: square =  {(14)}^{2}  \\  \\ \sf \implies</p><p>Area  \: of \:  square = 196 \:  \:  {cm}^{2} </p><p>

 \thereforeThe area of square is 196 cm²
