Answer:

perimeter of rectangle r 2(L+B)

now 2(L+B) = 80

30+L=40

L=10m

now area of rectangle = L×B = 30×10 = 300m²

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle is 80m ...(Given)

perimeter of rectangle = 2×(l+b)

*l = length of rectangle

*b = breadth of the rectangle

Put the values in the formula

= 2×(l+30) = 80m

= l + 30 = 80/2

= l + 30 = 40m

= l = 40m - 30m

= l = 10m

area of rectangle is l×b

=30m×10m ..( the answer will be in m²)

= 300m²

Area of the rectangle is 300m²
