⇒ Perimeter of rectangle = 43.8 cm

• Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

So, perimeter of square = 43.8 cm

Calculating the side of the square :

⇒ 43.8 = 4 × a

⇒ Taking square root on both the sides :

⇒ 43.8/4 = a
