Step-by-step explanation:

  • GIVEN:perimeter of trapezium is 104
  • non parallel sides are 18m and 22m
  • height is 16m

LET'S TAKE THE PARALLEL SIDE OF X AND Y

PERIMETER of trapezium : X+Y+18+22

104=X+Y+40

104-40=X+Y

64m=X+Y

NOW;;

AREA OF TRAPEZIUM

1/2 (non parallel side)* height

1/2 (64)*16

=) 512m^2

THUS THE AREA OF TRAPEZIUM IS 512m^2......

\huge\mathbb{SOLUTION:-}

Given :-

  • The non parallel sides of trapezium which is 18m and 22m

  • The altitude of trapezium 16cm

  • The perimeter=104m

\tt Area\:of\: trapezium=\frac{1}{2}\times (sum\:of\: parallel\:side)\times height

  • So we have to find the sum parallel sides of trapezium

\bf\underline{According\:to\: Question:-}

Perimeter of trapezium =sum of all sides

  • let the parallel sides be m and n

Now :-

=>104=18+22+m+n

=> 104= 40+m+n

=> m+n=104-40

=> m+n= 64

  • The sum of the parallel sides of trapezium is 64

•So find the area if trapezium

\sf\rightarrow Area\:of\: trapezium=\frac{1}{2}\times 64\times 16\\ \\ \sf\rightarrow Area\:of\:trapezium= \cancel{\frac{1024}{2}}=512\\ \\ \sf\implies Area\:of\: trapezium=512m{}^{2}

\mathfrak{Area\:of\: trapezium=512m{}^{2}}
