The perimeter of a triangle ABC is 11 cm. Sides AB and BC differs in length by 1cm and the sides AC and BC differ in length by 3cm. Find the length of each side.​

perimeter of ∆= ab+bc+ac

given,

ac-bc=3, ie ac=bc+3 similarly ab=bc+1

then,

perimeter of ∆=bc+1+bc+bc+3=3bc+4

so, 11=3bc+4; 3bc=11-4; bc=7/3

then, ab=1+(7/3)=10/3, ac=3+(7/3)=16/3

therefore,

ab=10/3, bc=7/3, ac=16/3
