{\large{\purple{\mathbb{\bold{ANSWER}}}}}

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}}}

  • Perimeter = 12 1/2 cm = 25/2 cm.

  • One side = 4 1/2 cm = 9/2 cm.

  • Another side = 3 3/4 cm = 15/4 cm.

  • Let the third side be x cm.

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{So,}}}}}

=》 9/2cm+15/4cm+x = 25/2 cm.

=》 18/4cm+15/4cm+4x/4cm = 25/2cm.

{By taking LCM}

=》 33cm+4xcm/4 = 25/2 cm.

=》 33cm+4xcm = 100/2 cm.

=》 33cm+4x cm = 50 cm.

=》 4x cm = 50cm-33cm.

=》4x cm = 17cm.

=》 x cm = 17cm/4

{\large{\green{\boxed{\bold{=》\:x\:cm\:=\:4\:\:\: 1/4 }}}}}

Therefore the length of third side ic 4 1/4 cm.
