The perimeter of a triangle is (14−3+12). If two sides of the triangle are (4+6−8)and (3−5+11), find the third side.

ANSWER:-

Perimeter :- 14−3+12

= 11+12 = 23

Sides :-i) 4+6−8

= 10-8 = 2

ii) 3−5+11

= -2+11 = 9

THIRD :- (perimeter) - ( 1st side+2nd side)

= 23 – (2+9)

= 23 – 11

= 12 = 3rd side
