2x+3x+5x=180
10x=180
x=180/10
x=18

therefore, sides will be 2x=2×18=36, 3x=3×18=54 and 5x=5×18=90

Given:

  • Ratio of the sides of a triangle 2:3:5.
  • Perimeter of the triangle is 180 cm.

To find:

  • Area of the triangle?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution:

☯ Let the three sides of the triangle be 2x, 3x and 5x.

\underline{\bigstar\:\boldsymbol{According\:to\:the\:question\::}}\\ \\

:\implies\sf 2x + 3x + 5x = 180 \\ \\

:\implies\sf 10x = 180 \\ \\

:\implies\sf x = \cancel{\dfrac{180}{10}} \\ \\

:\implies{\boxed{\frak{\pink{x=18}}}}\;\bigstar\\ \\

⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The three sides of the triangle are :

  • 2x = 2 × 18 = 36
  • 3x = 3 × 18 = 54
  • 5x = 5 × 18 = 90

\therefore\;{\underline{\sf{The \:three\:sides\:of\:the\:triangle\;are\; \bf{36,\:54,\;\sf{and}\;\bf{90}\:}.}}}
