Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides

240= 50+112+AB

240=162+AB

AB=240-162

third side=AB=78m

Area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s=a+b+c/2

s=50+112+78/2

s=240/2

s=120

Area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

√120(120-50)(120-112)(120-78)

area=√2²×2²×2²×2²×3²×5²×7²

area=1680m²

By the problem

take 112m side as base

area of triangle=1/2×base×height

1680=1/2×112×BD

BD=1680/56

BD=30CM

Length of perpendicular(height)=30m
