Answer:

The sides of the triangle are: 5, 10 and 10

Explanation:

Let the triangle be ABC then,

AB + BC + AC = 25 cm. ----- 1

Let the shortest side AB be x.

Then,

Longest side, BC = 2x cm.

Third side, AC = (x+5) cm.

by 1,

= x + (x+5) + 2x = 25

= x + x + 5 + 2x = 25

= 4x + 5 = 25

= 4x = 25 - 5

= 4x = 20

= x = 20/4

= x = 5

Thus the sides of the triangle ABC are:

AB = x = 5 cm.

BC = 2x = 10 cm.

AC = x + 5 = 10 cm.
