The perimeter of a triangle is 40cm, 17cm and 25cm. Two of its sides measure 12.9 cm and 14.6 cm. Find the length of its third side.

Perimeter =40+17+25=(82)cm

let third side be =x


12.9+14.6+x =82
27.5+x =82
x=(82-27.5)cm
x=54.5 cm is the correct answer
