ANSWER

Perimeter = 42 cm

∴ 2a+b=42 cm

Also ,

b=1.5a

2a+1.5a=42

3.5a=42 a=12 cm

b=1.5×12

= 18 cm

semiperimeter =

2

a+b+c

=

2

2×12+18

=21cm

Area by Heron's formula,

A=

s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

21(21−12)(21−12)(21−18)

21×9×9×3

=22

7

cm

Also, area =

1

×base×height

=

×18×height

∴h=
