The perimeter of a triangle is 45 cm . The longest side exceeds the shortest side by 8 cm and the sum of the longest and shortest side find the length of each side

If the perimeter=45

P={2(l+b)}

45=2{l+b}

45/2=l+b

22.5=l+b

l=x

b=x-8

22.5=x+(x-8)

22.5=2x-8

22.5+8=2x

30.5/2=x

15.25=x

Therefore L=15.25

B= 7.25

Sum =22.5
