Answer: Largest side = 19cm

              Smallest side = 11cm

              other side =15cm

Step-by-step explanation:

~Let the length of shortest side of the triangle is x cm, longest side be 8 cm + length of shortest side i.e. ( x + 8 ) cm

=> Shortest side = x cm

=>Longest side = ( x + 8 ) cm

Other or Remaining side = perimeter - length of shortest side - length if largest side

=>Remaining side = 45 - x - x - 8

=>Remaining side = ( 37 - 2x ) cm

Now, A.T.Q,

the sum of length of the largest side and length of the shortest is equal to the 2 times if remaining side, So,

Largest side+shortest side = 2(other side)

: x+(x+8)= 2(37-2x)

: x+x+8= 74-4x

: 2x+8 = 74-4x

: 2x+4x = 74-8

: 6x = 66

: x = 66/6

: x = 11 = Shortest side,

Then;

Smallest side = x cm = 1 1 cm

Largest side = ( x + 8 ) cm = ( 1 1 + 8 ) cm = 19 cm

Other side = ( 45 - 1 1 - 19 ) cm = ( 45 - 30 ) cm = 15 cm

Hope it Helps!
