So,

3x-1=2x+2

x=3

Perimeter=sum of all sides

=3x-1+2x+2+2x

=7x+1

Substituting value of x

Perimeter=7(3)+1

=21+1

=22

Thus x=3 and Perimeter of a triangle=22 square units
