the perimeter of a triangle is 50 cm. one side of a triangle is 4 cm longer than the smallest side and the third side is 6 CM less than twice the smallest side. find the area of the triangle...!!

let the smallest size be X
then the other two sides will be 2X+6 and X+4
according to the question,
X + (2 X + 6) +(X+4)=50
X + 2 X - 6 + X + 4 =50
X + 2 X + X - 6 + 4 = 50
4 x -2 = 50
4 X = 50 +2
X = 52/4
x = 13
hence the smallest side = x=13
show the two sides are
2x -6= 12×2-6=26-6=20
AND,
X+4=13+4=17
HENCE, THE AREA OF TRIANGLE EQUALS TO 1 BY 2 INTO BASE INTO HEIGHT
by Pythagoras Theorem we will find the height
