Perimeter of triangle = 60m & sides are in ratio 5:12:13

⇒5x+12x+13x=60⇒x=2​

∴ Sides are 10,24,26m.

From ΔABD & ΔADC

AD2=102−x2=242−(26−x)2

⇒100−x2=576−676−x2+52x

⇒x=3.846​

∴AD2=102−(3−846)2⇒AD=9.23=9133​m​
