The third side of the triangle is:

-6p² - 4p +3

This can be calculated as follows:

  • As per the question,

        First side of  the triangle = 2p² - p + 1

        Second side of the triangle = 11p² -3p + 5

Third side of the triangle = x

        Perimeter of the triangle is (P) = 7p² - 8p + 9

  • Now,

        7p² - 8p + 9 =  2p² - p + 1 + 11p² -3p + 5 + x

        7p² - 8p + 9 - 2p² + p - 1 - 11p² + 3p - 5 = x

                                                  -6p² - 4p + 3 = x

  • Thus, the third side of the triangle is -6p² - 4p + 3.
