the third side is 3x +7

solution:-

perimeter of the triangle = (8x+9)

(3x+1)+(2x+1)+ third side = (8x+9). [perimeter= sum of 3 sides]

(5x+2)+ Third side = (8x+9)

third side = (8x+9)-(5x+2)

Third side = 8x + 9 - 5x - 2 = 3x + 7

Hence the third side of the triangle is

3x + 7
