Answer:

y² - 4y - 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

After adding the two sides i.e.

( 3y² - 5y ) + ( 4y² + 12 ) = 7y² - 5y + 12.   .... ( i )

After subtracting ( i ) from the perimeter i.e.

( 8y² - 9y + 4 ) - ( 7y² - 5y + 12 ) = y² - 4y - 8

Hope this helps! And please give me brainliest.
