Given:-

The perimeter of a triangle is x2 - x - 2 and two of its sides are x - x + 1 and x2 - 2x + 1. Find the third side of the triangle.

To Find:-

Third side of the triangle.

Formula:-

x  + x + x + x

Solution:-

let \: the \: third \: side \: be \: y. \\ perimeter \:  =  \: sum \: of \: all \: the \: 3 \: sides \\  {x}^{2}  - 2x + 1 + {3x}^{2}  - 5x + 3 + y =   {6x}^{2}  - 4x + 9 \\  {x}^{2}  +  {3x}^{2}   +  {6x}^{2} 2x - 5x + 4 + 1 + 9 + y = 0 \\  {2x}^{2}  - 3x + 10 + y = 0 \\  {2x}^{2}  + 3x - 10 + y = 0 \\  {2x}^{2}  + 3x - 10 - y = 0 \\ y =   {2x}^{2}  + 3x - 10
