Let the sides of the triangle be

  • 3x, 4x and 6x

Perimeter = 144 m

As we know,

perimeter = side   + side + side

144 = 3x + 4x + 5x

144 = 12x

x =  \cancel \frac{144}{12}

x = 12

Therefore the sides are

  • 3x = 3(12) = 36 m
  • 4x = 4(12) = 48 m
  • 5x = 5(12) = 60 m
