Answer:

let the sides be 25x,17x,12x

perimeter= 540m

25x+17x+12x=540m

54x=540

x=540/54

x= 10m

So sides will be 250m,170m,120m

Now

s= 250+170+120/2

= 540/2

= 270

Now by herons formula we have

area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √270×20×100×150

= 9000m^2

cost of ploughing =9000×10/18.8

=900000/188

=₹ 4787.23

hope it helps you

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the sides of the triangle be 25x, 17x and 12x

Given,

Perimeter of the triangle = 540 m

⇒ 540 = 25x + 17x + 12x

⇒ 540 = 54x

  x =\frac{540}{54}

⇒ x=\cancel{100}/\cancel4

\huge{\blue{\fbox{\mathbf{\red{x=\:10}}}}}}}

\tt\red{\text{Thus, sides of the triangle are:}}

⇒  25x = 25 × 10 = 250 m

⇒  17x = 17 × 10 = 170 m

⇒  12x = 12 × 10 = 120 m

Let,

a = 250 m,

 b = 170 m,

c = 120 m

\tt\red{\text{Therefore,}}

= \frac{a+b+c}{2}

 s =  250 + 170 +  \frac{120}{2}

 s=\frac{250+170+120}{2}

  s=\frac{540}{2}\cancel{540}/\cancel2

 s=270

\huge{\blue{\fbox{\mathbf{\red{s=\:270}}}}}}}

\implies\huge\blue{\text{Therefore,}}

 Area of triangle =

\displaystyle \sqrt{[s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)]}

= \displaystyle \sqrt{[270 (270 - 250)(270 - 170)(270 - 120)]}

= \displaystyle \sqrt{[3 × 3 × 3 × 10 × 10 × 2 × 10 × 10 × 10 × 5 × 3]}

=3 × 3 × 10 × 10 × 10

=  9×10^3

= 9000 m^3

\huge{\blue{\fbox{\purple{\bigstar{\mathbf{\red{answer=\:9000m^3}}}}}}}

Cost of ploughing the field at the rate of Rs. 18.80 per 10 m²

=   \frac{18.80}{10} × 9000
