given AB =AC
and (BC-7)=AB
Now according to question,
AB+BC+CA=38. (1)
BC-7+BC+CA=38
2BC+AB=38+7. (AB=CA)
BC=(45-AB)/2 (2)
put this value in (1)
AB+(45-AB)/2+AB=45
4AB-AB+45=90 on solving we get
AB=15cm
CA=15cm
BC=8cm
and (BC-7)=AB
Now according to question,
AB+BC+CA=38. (1)
BC-7+BC+CA=38
2BC+AB=38+7. (AB=CA)
BC=(45-AB)/2 (2)
put this value in (1)
AB+(45-AB)/2+AB=45
4AB-AB+45=90 on solving we get
AB=15cm
CA=15cm
BC=8cm
