Answer:

Area of Equilateral triangle =

\begin{gathered} = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} {a}^{2} \\ \\ = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times {40}^{2} \\ \\ = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times 1600 \\ \\ = \sqrt{3} \times 400 \\ \\ = 400 \sqrt{3} \end{gathered}

Given,

Perimeter of an equilateral triangle is - 120 cm

We know that sides of equilateral triangle are equal.

So,

Measure of 1 side =

                   3x = 120

                     x = 120÷3

                     x = 40

Now,

Using the formula = \sqrt3/4a^2

                            P = 3a

A = √3 P^{2} / 36

   = √3 120^{2} / 36

   = 692.82

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!!
