In general, Perimeter of a figure is Sum of All the sides,

Equilateral triangle means , the traingle has equal sides, i.e with equal length,

Triangle has 3 sides,

So according to the definition, If the side of equilateral triangle is a, then perimeter is 3a,

Given that,

Perimeter = 17.7 cm,

So if we assume side as a, Then,

3a = 17.7 cm,
=> a = 5.9 cm,

Therefore the length of each side of given equilateral triangle is 5.9cm,

Hope you understand, Have a great day,

Thanking you, Bunti 360 !
