Now, perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 3x

Where, x is the side length.

So, 3x=24cm

X=8cm

Hence, each side length is 8cm.

Here comes it's area

Equilateral Triangle area=

(square root of 3)/4 x² cm²

Now put the value of x

Gives, (root3) /4*8²

= (root3)/4*64

=(root3)*16 cm²

Hence[ 16root 3] cm²is the area of an equilateral triangle with each side length 8cm
