The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 48m. If area is

Perimeter = 48

=> 3a = 48

=> a = 48/3

=> a = 16

Now, area of an equilateral triangle = {(root3)/4} × a^2

=> area = {(root3)/4} × 16×16

=> area = 64root3 [option (a)] ans.
