perimeter of equilateral triangle= 60m

As,

it's an equilateral triangle the measure of all the side will be same.

so let the measure of one side be 'x'm

therefore,

x + x + x = 60 m

3x = 60 m

x = 60/3

x = 20m

let's find the height of the triangle

angle opposit to heihht will be 60 degree...

.. (angle of a equilateral triangle).

as we know sider oppoaite to 60 degree is root3/2 times of hypotenuse

so height will be 10 root3 metres.

area of a triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 20 × 10 root3 metres

= 100 root3 metres.
