Answer:

ANSWER

Let the side of the equilateral triangle be a cm

area of the triangle

43a2=643⇒a2=34×64×3⇒a2=256⇒a=16

Question

  • The perimeter of an equilateral triangle of area 64√3cm is

Given

  • Area of equilateral is 643 cm

Find

  • Perimeter = ?

Formula

  • \bf \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4}a^2

Where a = side

Solution

  • Let the side of be x cm

\sf → \frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}a^2=64\sqrt{3} \\ → \sf a^2=\dfrac{4×64×\sqrt{3}}{\sqrt{3}}

\sf → a^2=256 \\ \sf → a=\sqrt{16×16} \\ → \sf a=16cm

Now,

  • Perimeter of ∆ 3 × side

\sf → perimeter = 3 × 16 \\ \sf →  perimeter = 48cm

Hence

  • Perimeter of the ∆ is 48cm
