Then, height also will be X.
Hypotenuse = √(X^2+X^2) = √2×X
Given, X + X + √2X = 2P
X = 2P/(2+√2).
Area = 1/2 × base × height
= 1/2 × X^2 = 2×P^2 / (2+√2)^2 = P^2 / (3+2√2)
Then, height also will be X.
Hypotenuse = √(X^2+X^2) = √2×X
Given, X + X + √2X = 2P
X = 2P/(2+√2).
Area = 1/2 × base × height
= 1/2 × X^2 = 2×P^2 / (2+√2)^2 = P^2 / (3+2√2)
