let the base be a .
perimeter of triangle ABC is 24cm.
ABC is a is isosceles triangle .
so there are 2 congruent side and one base.
each congruent side =2a-13
ATQ , 2a-13 +2a-13+a=24 (proprty of isosceles triangle)
a=10 cm ( on solving)
similarly, each congruent side =2a-13
=7 cm
Hence , base is 10 cm and each congruent side is 7cm.
