let the length of base is x than the the length of congruent side is x +3

ATQ

(x + 3) + (x + 3) + x = 30 \\ 3x + 6 = 30 \\ 3x = 30 - 6 \\ 3x = 24 \\ x = 8

base = x= 8

congruent side =x +3=11

Hope it helps...

The answer is attached.

Perimeter =30cm

Let the length of the base be x cm and the length of the concurrent sides be y cm.

y=3+x

y+y+x=30cm

3+x+3+x+x=30

3x+6=30

3x=30-6

3x=24

x=8

Base=8 cm

Concurrent sides =3+8=11cm
