p = 3 × side that is for equilatrel triangelz

p of iso ∆ = 2x + y

inequal measures 16cm

so y = 16cm

then p of iso. ∆ = 2x + 16 = 40

so, 2x = 40-16 = 24cm

x = 24/2 = 12cm

length of equal sides = 12cm
