Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = 42

one equal side = 2x = 2*6=12

base = 3x = 3*6= 18

so 2x+2x+3x = 42

7x = 42

x = 42/7

x = 6

altitude of the triangle = (12)^2 - (18/2)^2

= 144 - 36

= 108 = √108 = 6√3

Area = 1/2*b*h

= 1/2*6√3*18

= 6√3 * 6

=36√3 cm^2

Answer:

2x+2x+3x=42

7x=42

x=6

2x:2*6=12cm,  2x:2*6=12cm,  3x:3*6=18cm

area=\sqrt{x}5103

=71.43
