the perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 42cm and it's base is 3/2 times each of the equal sides. find the length of each side of the triangle area of the triangle and the height of the triangle.

let the length of its equal side be x cm
so length of its base = 3x/2 cm
perimetrer of triangle = sum of three sides
x+x+3x/2=42
7x/2=42
x=12cm , base =12*3/2=18cm
so length of equal side =12cm and base=18cm
height of triangle =√(12^2-9^2)=√144-81=√63=3√7
area of triangle =1/2*base*height=1/2*18*3√7=27√7cmsquare Answer
